DREAM VIEW Project
The Dream View project was birthed in response to an article stating that workers wanted to see more art in the workplace. Members of the public were surveyed to find out what type of imagery they would like to see whilst seated at their desks. Using the results, The Dream View project incorporated these images into everyday office products such as desk dividers, office blinds and room dividers. This allowed previously mundane objects to become works of art in their own right, consequently serving a dual purpose in the work environment. The products were dynamic and changed in nature depending on variables such as lighting, surface manipulation or the angle it was viewed from. Reflective pieces and cut-outs were then added so that certain designs would look different depending on what was placed behind it or reflected off it. All in all, this created a ‘Dream View’ that is rarely found in your typical office environment.
